Overview
Lithuania is a small independent democratic country in Eastern Europe. Only a few agencies are licensed for adoption in Lithuania. Health care, food provision and education systems in Lithuania are generally graded as above average.
Children available:
Special needs children, both minor and moderate, of all age groups available. Waiting children reside in orphanages. Medical information provided about children is detailed.
Parent Qualification:
Adoptive applicants for non-special needs children must be married couples aged between 25 - 50 years and married for a minimum of one year. Other children may be present in the home. Single women of proven Lithuanian heritage are also eligible to adopt.
Timeline:
Waiting Time for Referral Extremely variable. Parents of Lithuanian heritage are given preference.

2 trips of 2 weeks
