Wide Horizons For Children has a direct relationship with Asia Orphan's Association (AOA), an orphanage that serves the needs of children from infants to 8 years old that have been orphaned or abandoned. The orphanage strives to provide proper nutrition, clean drinking water, basic medical care and education, and a secure living environment for the 30 children under its care.
The approximate cost for supporting these children is U.S. $1,500 per month (or $50 per day). Nearly two-thirds of this money is used to buy food. Wide Horizons is committed to supporting this orphanage and recently sent funds to cover the costs for food, transportation, education, and firewood. |
