Adoption is a wonderful option for those who can fully accept, love and care for a child who may be quite different from other family members. Children of all ages and backgrounds need a family. The common link is that every child needs love, commitment, support , understanding and a sense of security. As the Executive Director of Wide Horizons For Children, I have spent many years visiting children in orphanages and working with adoptive families. The greatest lessons I have learned have been through these experiences and contacts.
